تتقدم فرعية حزب المؤتمر السوداني بشرق أفريقيا بأصدق التهاني إلى الشعب الكيني الشقيق بمناسبة الذكرى الثانية والستين لاستقلال بلاده. تمثل هذه المناسبة محطةً تستحضر فيها شعوب المنطقة إرثًا طويلًا من النضال ضد الاستعمار، وكفاحًا مشتركًا من أجل الحرية والعدالة والتنمية.
وقد تابعنا باهتمام مناشدة الرئيس وليم روتو للرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب، إبّان توقيع اتفاق السلام بين جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية ورواندا في واشنطن هذا الشهر، بضرورة الانخراط الفاعل لإنهاء الحرب الدائرة في السودان. ونعتبر ذلك تأكيدًا جديدًا على أن أمن السودان جزء لا يتجزأ من أمن الإقليم، وأن استمرار الحرب يمثل تهديدًا خطيرًا للاستقرار الإقليمي والدولي.
إننا نثمّن كل جهد صادق يُبذل لوقف الحرب وحماية المدنيين واستدامة السلام، وندعو إلى تعزيز العمل الإقليمي المشترك بما يسهم في بناء مستقبل أكثر أمنًا واستقرارًا للسودان والمنطقة بأسرها.
كما نعبّر عن تقديرنا العميق لجمهورية كينيا وشعبها، وللدول الشقيقة في الإقليم، التي احتضنت أعدادًا كبيرة من السودانيين الفارّين من جحيم الحرب. إن هذا الموقف الإنساني يعكس قيم الأخوّة الأفريقية وروح التضامن التي جمعت شعوبنا عبر العقود.
ختامًا، نجدد تهانينا للشعب الكيني في يوم استقلاله المجيد، متمنّين لجمهورية كينيا دوام التقدم والازدهار، وللإقليم مستقبلًا تسوده قيم السلام والحرية والعدالة والتنمية.

Statement on the 62nd Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kenya

The East Africa Branch of the Sudanese Congress Party extends its warmest congratulations to the brotherly people of Kenya on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of their country’s independence. This significant day evokes a long history of the region’s peoples’ struggles against colonialism and their shared pursuit of freedom, justice, and development.
We have closely followed President William Ruto’s appeal to U.S. President Donald Trump—made during the signing of the peace agreement between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda in Washington this month—calling for active engagement to help end the ongoing war in Sudan. We view this as a reaffirmation that Sudan’s security is an integral part of regional security, and that the continuation of the war poses a serious threat to both regional and international stability.
We value every sincere effort aimed at halting the war, protecting civilians, and sustaining peace, and we call for strengthened regional cooperation that contributes to building a safer and more stable future for Sudan and the entire region.
We also express our deep appreciation to the Republic of Kenya and its people, as well as to the countries of the region that have hosted large numbers of Sudanese fleeing the horrors of war. This humanitarian stance reflects the values of African brotherhood and the spirit of solidarity that have long united our peoples.
In conclusion, we renew our congratulations to the people of Kenya on their glorious Independence Day, wishing the Republic of Kenya continued progress and prosperity, and hoping for a future in our region marked by peace, freedom, justice, and development.
